These terms ("Program Terms") govern Vaiku.io's "Invite & Earn" referral program operated by Vaiku Oy, Business ID: 3555705-2 ("Vaiku"). By participating in the program you ("Participant") agree to these Program Terms. They apply in addition to Vaiku's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
Any Vaiku.io user with a verified email address and an account in good standing may participate. Banned, suspended, or terminated accounts are not eligible. Vaiku may, at its discretion, decline a participant's eligibility for any lawful reason.
2. How attribution works
Each eligible participant is issued a personal invite link inside Vaiku. When someone signs up for Vaiku through that link and verifies their email address, the signup is recorded as the participant's referral. Attribution rules and time windows are determined by Vaiku and may be updated from time to time.
3. Reward
When an attributed company subscribes to a Vaiku subscription plan, the participant earns twenty percent (20%) of every cleared subscription invoice paid by that company, for a period of up to twelve (12) months from the date the company's first paid subscription invoice clears. Invites of accounts that do not pay a Vaiku subscription (e.g. content-creator accounts) do not generate cash rewards but may still appear in the participant's signup totals.
4. Earnings window
The twelve-month earnings window is fixed from the first cleared invoice. Rewards do not extend past it regardless of renewals. If the referred company cancels, downgrades, or pauses their subscription, no further rewards accrue from that company; rewards already cleared into the participant's balance remain the participant's.
5. Refunds and reversals
If a subscription invoice from which a reward was earned is later refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, the corresponding reward is reversed. If the reward has already been paid out, the amount is recorded as a balance owed and must be cleared before any further withdrawals can be made.
6. Anti-abuse
Self-referrals are not eligible. The same email address or business ID (Y-tunnus) may be attributed to a participant only once. Vaiku may flag, pause, or void any attribution or payout where abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise improper behaviour is suspected. Vaiku reserves the right to revoke a referral link or terminate participation in such cases.
7. Payouts
Cleared rewards are paid in EUR. The minimum withdrawal amount is fifty euros (€50). Participants must complete the identity-verification steps offered in the program area before a payout can be executed. Larger payouts and payouts on flagged accounts may be subject to additional review and may take longer to process.
8. Tax
Earnings are taxable income and are paid gross. The participant is solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes owed in the participant's jurisdiction. Vaiku does not issue tax forms.
9. Changes and termination
Vaiku may modify or terminate the program with thirty (30) days' written notice via email or in-app notification. Already-vested rewards within an active earnings window will be honoured through the end of that window where commercially reasonable.
10. Suspension or program ban
If a participant's involvement in the program is terminated for cause, any pending balance is forfeited. Already-paid amounts are not reversed. Vaiku may record a balance owed for amounts paid that are subsequently determined to have been earned through prohibited means.
11. Limitation of liability
The program is provided "as is". Vaiku does not guarantee that the program will be error-free or operate without interruption, and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation. Vaiku's total liability under these Program Terms is in all cases limited to the cumulative cleared rewards owed to the participant at the time of the claim.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Program Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising from these Program Terms shall first be sought to be resolved through negotiation between the parties. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be finally resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
